AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Trump, speaking to reporters at the White House and continuing his contradictory statements, claimed, "They made a proposal, and it's an important proposal. They have taken a very important step. We'll see what happens."
The warmongering U.S. president also once again attacked the JCPOA, claiming that if he had not torn up the Iran nuclear deal signed by Barack Obama, "the Zionist regime would have been finished."
He also claimed that he is "the only one" who will decide on a ceasefire between the United States and Iran.
Trump told reporters, "The only one who will call the ceasefire is me."
The U.S. president further claimed that J.D. Vance, the Vice President, Steve Witkoff, the U.S. special envoy, and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, are in talks with intermediary countries regarding the Iran war.
Trump, who is under pressure from public opinion, elites, and Congress within the United States for his unjustified war and for dragging his country into this conflict, in an insulting remark, called Americans opposed to the Iran war "fools."
The U.S. president also, while acknowledging that "unfortunately, the American people would like us to come home," and repeating the delusional fantasy of stealing Iran's oil as he has done with other countries, claimed, "If it were up to me, I would take the oil, I would keep the oil, and I would make a lot of money."
Trump, who has failed to achieve his objectives in the war against Iran and has adopted a pattern of erratic reactions and aggressive, insulting rhetoric, once again repeated his threats against Iran while simultaneously attempting to negotiate with it.
